Plan on roughly eight to ten hours door-to-door from the Bay Area for three or four wineries with lunch. Livermore days are shorter, usually six to seven hours.

Food, absolutely — we recommend it. When it comes to open containers of alcohol, our limousines and Sprinters are licensed to allow it; sedans and SUVs are not, under California law. We’ll match you with the right vehicle for the day you have in mind.
